Oxygen uptake include the makeup of your muscle fibers that is whether you have a larger the proportion of fast or slow-twitch fibers and the size of your heart which determines the rate at which you can transport oxygen via the blood finally, we have training which we've already briefly referred to by regularly engagingn cardiovascular activities such as running.
